- My favorite flower is the Anthurium because it is a heart shaped flower symbolizing “love” or at least it symbolizes that to me.

- As a child, I ate possum and sweet potatoes while visiting my grandparents in Clinton, LA.
- I am a home-based baker and pies are my specialty.
- I make a “mean” chicken shawarma with garlic yogurt cheese.
- I like to read at night.
- I believe in God.
- I love babies and young children, they are so innocent and untainted by the world.
- If I could have dinner with anyone alive or dead it would be Dione Lucas, Lena Richard, Edna Lewis, Lula Simpson and Julius Rogers. (They are all deceased.)
- My most memorable meal was a Thanksgiving dinner over 20 plus years ago where I prepared my first Turducken.
- I can be pessimistic.
- Milk or Dark, I always select dark chocolate.
- My secret goal for 2012 is to make sure all 50 states have or are on their way to having a cottage food law. Cottage Food Crafters rock!!!
