It is only fair to give the new foodie show “The Chew” the benefit of the doubt; and if I were not so disgusted by it, I would. According to David Hinkley, Daily News Writer, the goals of the show are a bit “ambitious.”

For several days I have been following a heated discussion about how new immigration laws are impacting the harvest of crops across America. It all started on Thursday, October 6th when I received an email from Farmhand Foods, LLC; the co-owner was sharing news about Farmhand Foods’ revised website and along with the email was a link to an interesting video.
Earlier today I was sharing with my daughter some attributes about my dad. She wanted to know what kind of man would leave a “good” job as an accountant for a major auto company and start his own business. What would drive someone to walk away from the security of a pension, health insurance and possible promotions to work long hours, never know when the next customer might walk through the door?
